iPhone 5 Sports Bigger Form Factor, to Hit Canada on October 1st

Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu has just reported in a research statement that iPhone 5 will be “bigger than expected” showcasing a larger display and thinner body that will run much faster will dual-core processor. But, this Wu’s claim isn’t almost perfect with form factor similar to the existing iPhone 4, which is in opposite of the leaked case pointing to tapered back but accordingly support that iPhone 5 would be bigger. Wu also added that the “iPhone 5 will not offer 4G LTE compatibility, as chipsets of acceptable size and power draw are not yet available and network coverage remains low.”

What is different is that in addition to a dual-core processor that we have talked about before, our supply chain sources indicate that it will sport a slightly larger display than the current 3.5-inch retina display that is already industry leading. We are picking up that it will retain a similar form factor and size but with thinner bezel. We believe this makes sense to improve the iPhone experience without making it too bulky as we have seen with models from competitors.

To add the disappointment of prolonged waiting for the iPhone 5 that is most expected on September, BGR reports that base from a “reliable source” at Canadian carrier Telus, October 1st marks the date in the carrier’s internal document when iPhone 5 is set to hit the shelves. BGR and it’s source seemed to be very sure of this report, however October 1st will fall on Saturday where it was claimed to be the busiest day of the week for mobile retail stores and Apple’s history shows no significant iPhone releases on Saturdays.

You can take this claims with a bowl of salt we think, so don’t push hard –day by day it’s getting stitched up to reveal the what we have been craving for –yes, the iPhone 5.
