Apple Dethrones Samsung Become World’s Top Smartphone Manufacturer
The Cupertino-giant has become the top smartphone manufacturer in the world dethroning Samsung after announcing a 37.04 million iPhones sold in the quarter that significantly boasts 128 percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter.
The relevant data shows latest estimates that Apple have sold around 37 million iPhones in the first quarter of 2012 compared to the Korean-giant that have only shipped(not sold) around 35 million smartphones. The hype brought by the launch of iPhone 4S along with free iPhone 3GS on contract and the hot shopping craze f the Holiday season have ultimately impacted Apple’s skyrocketed sales.
