Apple has just issued a price cut on its iPod Touch line which reduce the cost of the music players by as much as $100. The top-of-the-line 64GB iPod Touch is now just $299 from its original price tag of $399 with the 32GB model is now $249 from $299, and the 16GB model is $199 from $229.

The newly refreshed 16GB iPod Touch model now feature a new rear-facing camera and will be available in for new color variants: pink, yellow, blue and red. Previously, the 16GB model only came with front-facing camera and just available in silver and space gray hues.

Apparently, originally Apple is know for its iPod but times goes by and its market have just been eaten slowly by iPhone which is a minimalist item to feature almost all things the iPod can do. From the recent fiscal reports, the sales from the iPod line plunged more than 50 percent and just play a fraction of what currently iPhone-iPad record sales.

After the refresh of the 16GB model, now all iPod Touch variants features that 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, 4-inch Retina display, and a front-facing camera, as well as all six colors.
