According to an analyst from Daiwa Securities, a Japanese firm, Apple will release its next generation iPhone this coming summer, back to the company’s launch schedule. In can be remembered that the release of iPhone 4S was delayed until October because of the supposed overheating of Apple’s A5 chip. This delay might also be the reason of the huge demand for the model. Daiwa Securities also claim that iPhone 5 will feature a “glass to glass” touch panel which is set to benefit TPK Holding and Wintek.

The summer launch prediction might prove true for there is a scheduled “Corporate Meeting” for June 11-15, 2012 at the Moscone center in San Francisco which is the usual venue for WWDC. Well, it should still be considered a pinch of salt until the actual invitations arrive.
