The Cupertino-based popular technology company, Apple, few moments after the release of its much-awaited iPhone 5 device, has announced their worldwide carriers for the phone. The companies selected as their worldwide carriers are Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T and they will support LTE technology in the US. However, news gathered reveals that there is no AWS HSPA+ for T-Mobile, which makes it uneasy for subscribers on T-Mobile to have the phone pre-configured with the company’s wireless services.

iPhone5

As we all know, the new iPhone 5 comes with support for LTE and the phone is configured to work with any service provider with facilities for 4G connectivity, there’s not much problem for you in using the phone. And in the wake of this, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint has been added to the US carrier list by Apple to deliver what the user wants in the country. And in Canada, Rogers, Bell and Telus will be the carrier in the country for the new iPhone 5 device from Apple. Throughout Europe, Deutsch Telekom and the newly established EE will gain LTE. In Asia continent, SmartTone, KDDI, KT, SK Telecom, and Softbank will all be provided for.

But in the Africa continent, we have no clue of what would be the outcome, and we are waiting on Apple to announce this as the news uncover.

Update: Apple has detailed most of the technical specifications of its new radio in the United States, but as at the time of writing this, we’re still looking at what’s controversially the world LTE phone. It’s the first device worldwide to run on the new LTE networks of most majorities of service providers that are offering the service (carriers).

But the sad part is, there’s no AWS (1700MHz) HSPA+ for all T-Mobile customers. We have included below more coverage link to get knee-deep in frequencies and it shows that there is enough HSPA to go around.

iPhone 5 Wireless Connectivity

Iphone 5 really is a great phone with some of the high-end features is gifted with. For a phone like this giving customers no problem in connecting to any of the major carrier’s LTE network and also providing great wireless connectivity speed, I think Apple have what it takes to be in the business for more years to come.

What do you think about the new iPhone 5 LTE support for some of the top mobile carriers? Is this a blessing or cause? Please share your comment and suggestions below.
