2017 was a year of awards, at least taking into account the various awards that were issued to the best entities in different categories. Three important awards that were presented to the best companies under those categories are App Install Award, App Launch Campaign Award and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Award. The Mobile App Install Campaign Award 2017 went to a company called Yodel Mobile, thanks to Teletext Holidays. Yodel Mobile is a full-service global mobile and app marketing agency that has helped many companies popularize their app and promote their brand. Yodel Mobile helped Teletext Holidays, a legacy British travel brand promote its app and drive insanely high download numbers, ultimately increasing the company’s booking volumes as well as in-app usage.
Most Effective Mobile App Launch Campaign Award
The 2017 Most Effective Mobile App Launch Campaign Award was presented to Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi and KocZER, thanks to the powerful Yapi ve Kredi Mobile App launch campaign. Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi is one of the oldest banks in Turkey, founded in 1944. Last year, the bank together with its agency ‘KocZER’ launched a new mobile app through a serious campaign, resulting in a huge success. They managed to reach more than 68 million unique users both online and offline, using a variety of tactics, including online video ads, radio ads and digital billboards. As a result, searches for the terms ‘Yap Kredi Mobile’ increased tremendously compared to before the campaign. In Play Store, the app’s ranking improved by three positions within 7 days, and there was a 64% rise in the number of app installs in the month following the campaign. Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi’s and the agency partner’s tremendous mobile app launch success did capture the world’s attention, eventually winning the Most Effective Mobile App Launch Campaign Award.
Most Effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Campaign Award
The CRM Campaign Award 2017 went to Unibet, a top sports betting subsidiary of the Kindred Group. Kindred has been working with Amobee for some time now to drive its mobile growth. Last year, the company carried out a serious mobile marketing campaign to promote its subsidiary company to mobile users. Kindred sought to widen and deepen the betting company’s mobile focus in 10 markets. It aimed to drive a steady growth in installs as well as deposits and increase the lifetime value of each mobile user.
To achieve these goals, Kindred and Amobee adopted a customer-centric and data-driven approach to gain a deeper understanding of its customers. This earned Kindred’s subsidiary company the Most Effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Campaign Award.
Different 2017 awards were issued to different companies around the globe. Mobile App Install Campaign Award went to a mobile app marketing company based in London. Most Effective Mobile App Launch Campaign Award, on the other hand, went to a top financial institution located in Turkey. Finally, Most Effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Campaign Award was won by a Malta headquartered sports betting company.
